Business Changes & Closures

If a business has a change in the name and/or address, the Town's Business License Department shall be notified. Please submit a completed Change of Business Name and/or Location form via hand delivery or mail to the Town of Hilton Head Island, One Town Center Court, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928. Please answer all questions and be sure to sign and date the form. Please note that approvals must be obtained prior to the change of location occurs.

If a business is closed or sold please notify the Town's Business License Department by submitting a Statement of Closure form via mail or fax (843)341-4637. Please note: Business Licenses are non-transferable.
