Municipal Court Fines & Payments

If you have received a ticket from a Beaufort County Sheriff's Department Deputy, Plantation Security or a Town Official within the Town limits of Hilton Head Island, tickets will be handled through the Town's Municipal Court.

If you do not wish to appear in court, you may post the bond amount of your ticket with the Municipal Court. Fines are due prior to the commencement of court on the assigned court date. Fine Amounts can be viewed on this website.

Payment Options:

  1. You may pay fines online utilizing a credit card (Mastercard or Visa) by selecting the link below. Please note that if you have received your ticket within the past 72 hours, it may not appear in the system. Please check back.

  2. You may pay fines in person at the Municipal Court located in the Hilton Head Island Town Hall Complex at Wexford Plantation. Cash, Check, Money Orders or Credit Cards (Mastercard and Visa) are accepted. Payments will be accepted at the cashier's window Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  3. You may prefer to mail in your payment. Mail a  check, cashier's check or money order made payable to the Town of Hilton Head Island. Personal checks are cannot be accepted as payment for cases in which the assigned court date has passed. Please include the original and/or copy of the tickets with your exact payment. If you do not have the ticket, be sure to include your name, ticket number (if available), court date and current mailing address. Payments should be mailed to the Town of Hilton Head Island Municipal Court, Three Town Center Court, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928. Be sure to include your current mailing address, as a receipt will be mailed to you. Please allow seven (7) days for delivery.
