Town of Hilton Head Island
Beach Access Plan 1998

In 1998, the Town of Hilton Head Island updated a section of the 1991 Beach Management Plan to better reflect a more realistic construction schedule for beach access parks. This document reflects the agreement between the Town and the South Carolina Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management for timely construction of beach parks and facilities.

The Plan stipulates the following schedule:
