Bridge to the Beach Area I: Pope Avenue Corridor

Programs:

  1. In order to encourage redevelopment of private properties to maintain their economic value, enhance visual qualities, and reduce stormwater runoff contaminants:
    • Establish a program where private property owners can buy into a regional stormwater management system that provides off site storage and water quality measures.
    • Establish a program where property owners can buy into a regional parking facility that provides off site parking, enabling them to maintain existing levels of development.
  2. Establish a public art program that celebrates the native wildlife and becomes a permanent and distinctive part of the area.
