2.1 Extend Lemoyne Avenue to Cordillo Parkway and construct a pathway to improve traffic and pedestrian circulation. (In Ten Year CIP)



2.2 Redesign South Forest Beach Drive as a two lane boulevard with a landscaped median which includes bio-retention facilities in the median where feasible, left turn lanes, pedestrian crossings and refuges, reduced stormwater runoff, improved water quality of stormwater runoff, and improved aesthetics of the roadway.

This proposal is to improve access into this densely developed area for emergency vehicles as well as to provide alternative routes for vehicles and pedestrians.

The proposed work on South Forest Beach Drive is to provide safe crosswalks in areas currently heavily utilized by pedestrians, reduce vehicle speeds, enhance stormwater management by reducing pavement, and enhance the visual appearance of the roadway.
