| Mayor's Task Force for the Future | The Mayor's Task Force for the Future was dissolved on September 16, 2010 To review, refine and recommend a set of core values intended to guide both commerce and government actions for the future of the Island. Develop a succinct vision to distinguish ourselves in the marketplace of who we are as a town and how we should position ourselves in the marketplace. Identify key areas of focus for the Town, based on the Town's core values and mission statement. Recommend Strategies for implementation of these key focus areas. |

| LMO Rewrite Committee | To rewrite the LMO to simplify the Town's land development regulations and reorganize it into a format that is more user-friendly and easier to understand and apply. Property owners and investors should be able to clearly and quickly understand what development and improvements to property the code will support. The new code should not require users to search through multiple chapters to find regulations affecting a specific property.
