Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals	Grants variances from Standard Building Code if deemed necessary.	9	To Extent Available: 1 Architect 1 Engineer 1 Electrical Engineer Contractors: 1 General 1 Mechanical 1 Plumbing 1 Electrical 2 members at-large from building industry & 2 alternates 1 building industry 1 electrical industry	Staggered 4 years to expire June 30	The CBAA meets only as needed on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 5:30 pm.
Design Review Board	Aesthetics and design review along designated corridors.	7	To Extent Available: 1 Attorney 2-3 Design Professionals but no more than 3 Design Professionals	Staggered 3 years to expire June 30	Meetings are generally held the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 1:15 p.m., subject to change with notice.
Disaster Recovery Commission	Provides advice and recommendations to the Town Council on disaster recovery issues that will benefit island residents and businesses.	7	1 from faith-based or non-profit community; one from critical facility 1 from business community 4 at-large	Staggered 3 years to expire June 30	Meetings other than the Annual Meeting are scheduled on an as necessary basis with 2-week prior notice to the public.
Mayor's Task Force for the Future	The Mayor's Task Force for the Future was dissolved on September 16, 2010 To review, refine and recommend a set of core values intended to guide both commerce and government actions for the future of the Island. Develop a succinct vision to distinguish ourselves in the marketplace of who we are as a town and how we should position ourselves in the marketplace. Identify key areas of focus for the Town, based on the Town's core values and mission statement. Recommend Strategies for implementation of these key focus areas.	15
LMO Rewrite Committee	To rewrite the LMO to simplify the Town's land development regulations and reorganize it into a format that is more user-friendly and easier to understand and apply. Property owners and investors should be able to clearly and quickly understand what development and improvements to property the code will support. The new code should not require users to search through multiple chapters to find regulations affecting a specific property. This code should encourage reinvestment to revitalize existing development and encourage investment in new development consistent w the Town's core value.	7 (voting), 3 (non-voting)	The composition of the Committee shall include 7(seven) voting and 3 (three) non-voting members whose qualification may include the following: Two members of Planning Commission One member of Mayor’s Task Force for the Island's Future One local attorney with extensive experience with the existing LMO One PUD general manager One resident with knowledge of commercial real estate market One design professional with LMO and Town Board/Commission experience Two members of Town Council (ex-officio) Town Community Development Director (ex-officio)

Parks & Recreation Commission	Makes recommendations for the establishment of an effective Parks & Recreation System for the citizens & residents of the Town.	7	Experience in organized recreation; childcare provision, or leisure services to senior citizens	Staggered 3 years to expire June 30	Meetings are generally held the 2nd Thursday of the month at 3:30 p.m., subject to change with notice.
Planning Commission	Prepares and updates the Comprehensive Plan; reviews proposed zoning changes; reviews public project, conditional use, street and development name changes and traffic impact applications.	9	To Extent Available: 1 Attorney 1 Architect or Landscape Architect 7 At-large	Staggered 3 years to expire June 30	Meetings are generally held the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, subject to change with notice.
