Effective immediately the Town of Hilton Head Islands enhanced online service will allow customers to renew their business licenses, pay hospitality and accommodations taxes, and beach preservation fees up to $2,500.00 during the Business Renewal period only. Each renewal notice mailed out by the Town will contain your account number as well as a personal identification number (PIN) that allows you to complete the renewal application on our website. Online payments may be made using either your checking or savings acounts, Mastercard and Visa.

courtesy, renewals are typically mailed out in January or February. To avoid paying penalties, the annual renewal fee must be paid no later than May 31st for all businesses. For nonpayment of all or any part of the correct license fee, the license inspector shall levy and collect a late penalty of five (5) percent of the unpaid fee for each month or portion thereof after the due date until paid.If you do not plan to work on Hilton Head Island for the current calendar year, please indicate this on your renewal form or contact the Town's Revenue and Collections Division for further instructions.
