This multi-use pathway was constructed from the intersection of New Orleans Road and William Hilton Parkway and connect to the existing pathway at Compass Rose Park. The project provided a multi-use pathway down the east side (Shipyard side) of the road. This project required an extensive amount of storm water piping down an existing ditch that when completed had the multi-use pathway constructed over it. The project also included the redesign of the driveway entrance to some of the businesses along New Orleans Road. The scope of work involved taking an existing roadway shoulder and ditch, clearing undergrowth, extending some of the storm water drain system, relocating some of the utilities as needed, grading, and installing the base and final layers of pathway materials.
