Hilton Head Island land owners and other residents can learn how to preserve heirs’ property at a free seminar on Saturday, March 16, at Queen Chapel A.M.E. Church, 114 Beach City Road.

Sponsored by the Town of Hilton Head Island, the seminar will be held from 10 a.m. to noon. Representatives from the Center for Heirs’ Property Preservation in Charleston will discuss clearing title to heirs’ property, creating wills and family trees, and using land to generate income and increase its value.

Following the seminar, attendees are invited to enjoy an Oyster Roast and other refreshments, co-sponsored by Town and its Gullah Geechee Land and Cultural Preservation Task Force, the Native Island Business & Community Affairs Association, and Volunteers In Medicine.
