Beach Parking Passes

All of Hilton Head Island's public beach accesses and parking are open.

  • Islanders Beach Park at 94 Folly Field Road will only be accessible to beach parking pass holders.
    • If you do not have a beach parking pass, please do not visit this beach location.
    • Security will be on site at Islanders Beach Park to close the parking lot once it reaches capacity and will only reopen when it is safe to do so.

  • Burkes Beach visitors must park at the Chaplin Community Park, 11 Cast Net Drive. Metered spaces and on-street parking along Burkes Beach Road will be terminated until further notice.

Vehicles that are illegally parked in unmarked spaces or along road rights of way will be towed.

VERY IMPORTANT

The beach parking pass is only authorized for the vehicle for which it is issued. Transfer of the decal to another vehicle invalidates the pass and subjects the decal to removal by a Town of Hilton Head Island representative.

When purchasing a new vehicle or replacing a rear bumper, remove the current pass from the bumper and return it to Facilities Management, 12A Gateway Circle or One Town Center Court, for a replacement pass at no charge. Failure to follow these procedures will result in the need to purchase a new pass for $30.00.

The beach parking pass must be placed on the driver side rear bumper. The Beach Pass must be affixed by the adhesive on the sticker, otherwise it is invalid. If instructions are not followed, the beach pass will be removed and you are subject to a parking citation.

Please do not tape beach pass to the window or bumper.

If you have questions regarding beach passes, please call 843-342-4580.
