Free COVID-19 vaccines and free at-home COVID-19 test kits will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, at Lowcountry Celebration Park, 94 Pope Avenue. The vaccine clinic is sponsored by the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control and the Town of Hilton Head Island. The Pfizer, Moderna and Janssen vaccine will be offered. No identification, insurance or appointment is required. All South Carolinians who are 12 and older are eligible for vaccines.
In addition to vaccines, DHEC will distribute free at-home COVID-19 test kits for individuals who need to be tested for the coronavirus.
