Resident Beach Parking Permit Update

On Monday, the Town of Hilton Head Island announced the availability of resident beach parking permits through our partner PCI - Municipal Services (PCI). However, over the last 24 hours, we have become aware of some issues with the online application and gaps in the information available on the parkhhi.org website.

To resolve these issues and ensure our residents can smoothly secure beach parking permits for 2023, we are:

• Actively working with PCI to address the online application process.
• Adding detail on the application process to the parkhhi.org website.
• Adding detail on how the 2023 resident parking permit will function to the parkhhi.org website.
• Compiling frequently asked questions that will be posted on the parkhhi.org website and the hiltonheadislandsc.gov website.

We will provide further updates as these issues are resolved.

Additionally, we want to make sure you are aware of the following:

• 2022 resident beach parking permits remain valid through May 31, 2023, to provide access to beach parking during the transition period.
• The new permits are digitized based on your license plate number. Therefore, physical decals will no longer be issued.
• PCI can assist residents who need help applying for the 2023 permits. The PCI office is located at 32 Office Park Road, Suite 108, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928.
• The PCI office is open from 9 am to 1 pm Tuesday through Thursday and Saturday.
