Town Administrative Offices Closed for Memorial Day

In observance of Memorial Day, the Town of Hilton Head Island Administrative Offices will be closed on Monday, May 29, and reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 30.

The Beaufort County Convenience Center at 26 Summit Drive will be closed on Monday, May 29, but will resume its regular operating schedules on Tuesday, May 30.

Town emergency services and the Hilton Head Island Airport will remain available and operational during the holiday.

Memorial Day Ceremony

Spend the day honoring and celebrating those that served the country. The annual Memorial Day Ceremony will feature several guest speakers, including Hilton Head Island Mayor Allen Perry; Colonel Bradley W. Ward, U.S. Marine Corp, RTR; and Lieutenant Adam J. McMillan, Chaplain Corps, U.S. Navy. This ceremony also includes a call to the colors and music by the Headliners and the Hilton Head Choral Society.

The ceremony takes place: 

Monday, May 29, from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Veterans Memorial at Shelter Cove Community Park
59 Shelter Cove Lane, Hilton Head Island, S.C.
