A contractor for the Town of Hilton Head Island will do landscape work at the Town's mid-Island tract by Union Cemetery Road next week. Work will take place between 7 am and 5 pm from Monday, May 24 through Friday, May 28, and will involve mowing and bush-hogging the property.
The contractor will be using heavy equipment and will have warning signs posted so the public is aware of work in progress. The public should avoid areas with workers and heavy equipment, and use caution if in the general vicinity of the tract.
