Town to Perform Maintenance Work on Pathway and Pump Station Beginning Monday, February 22

February 18, 2021

The Town of Hilton Head Island has scheduled two maintenance projects on which work will begin Monday, February 22.

Repair work will be underway on small portions of the pathway along Pope Avenue.  Temporary pathway closures are expected in the immediate vicinity of the work.  Pathway users should exercise caution near the work zones.  Work is expected to be completed within one week from the start date. For more information, contact the Town’s Facilities Management Office at 843-342-4581.

Also, the Town will be performing maintenance to the Jarvis Creek Stormwater Pump Station along Nature’s Way. The work will require a single lane closure between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., and is also expected to take about one week to complete. The Town recommends avoiding unnecessary travel along Nature’s Way during this time. For more information, contact Erik Ladd, Stormwater Operations and Maintenance Administrator for the Town, at erikl@hiltonheadislandsc.gov or 843-341-4775.
