Town Administrative Offices to be Closed Thursday, November 10, Due to Inclement Weather

Due to Tropical Storm Nicole and the forecasted inclement weather for Beaufort County, the Town of Hilton Head Island administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, November 10.

Also, Town offices will remain closed on Friday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day. Normal operating hours will resume on Monday, November 14.

In addition:

• All Beaufort County buildings and programs will be closed Thursday in advance of the impending tropical storm. Beaufort County schools will be closed but will implement e-learning services.
   
• All Beaufort County Convenience Centers will be closed Thursday in preparation of the storm. Convenience Centers will remain closed on Friday in honor of Veterans Day.
   
• Town emergency services and the Hilton Head Island Airport will remain available and operational on both days. Travelers are advised to check with their carriers for any possible flight delays and cancellations.

Town emergency and public safety personnel will be monitoring and providing updates on Tropical Storm Nicole through the Town’s social media pages. Residents and visitors are encouraged to follow the Town’s Facebook page @townofhhi for weather updates.
