Kevin Tylus Named Public Space Programming & Events Manager for the Town of Hilton Head Island

The Town of Hilton Head Island is pleased to welcome Kevin Tylus as its Public Space Programming & Events Manager, a newly created position responsible for logistical oversight of activities on Town properties.

As a member of the Town's Facilities Management team, he is the primary contact for event management involving Town properties, facilities, and parks. He also will develop, coordinate, and manage programs and activities, and will work with community groups to ensure they have successful events on Town properties.

"The Town's network of parks and properties continues to expand and are widely used by the public. With his expertise and background, Kevin will help us to manage their use, maintain good working relationships with other partners using our facilities, and establish programs to engage the public. We're excited about the possibilities Kevin brings to this new position for the Town," said Shawn Colin, Assistant Town Manager - Community Development.

Most recently, Kevin was Director of Community Relations for Visitation Home, Inc., a non-profit organization in Hamilton, New Jersey. Prior to that, he served as the Assistant Athletic Facilities Coordinator for The College of New Jersey, where he directed event and facilities operations and logistics for more than 150 annual events. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.
