From now through July, surveyors working for the Town of Hilton Head Island will survey existing conditions along Jonesville Road.
The survey is required for upcoming designs and permitting related to roadway traffic safety improvements and a new pathway along Jonesville Road. Surveyors will collect data for topography, property boundaries and existing infrastructure such as paving, utilities and trees.
The project area begins at the intersection of Jonesville Road and Spanish Wells Road and continues to the end of Jonesville Road. All property corners and utilities will be flagged or marked along the road right-of-way. Trees 6 inches in diameter or greater within the survey project limits will be flagged. Flags will be removed after work is completed. No trees will be removed during this survey.
