REMINDER: Hilton Head Island Town Council to Hold Workshop on Progress of its Strategic Action Plan

The Hilton Head Island Town Council will hold a public workshop about its Strategic Action Plan on Wednesday, August 9, from 9 am to 3 pm at the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa, 2 Grasslawn Avenue.

At the workshop, Town Manager Marc Orlando and senior staff members will review progress toward initiatives in the Fiscal Year 2023-2025 Strategic Action Plan. They will also lead a discussion on the prioritization of projects over the remainder of the current fiscal year. The Strategic Action Plan contains strategies to protect and preserve the Island's natural environment, manage growth, develop creative revenue sources to fund service delivery and provide exceptional quality-of-life offerings in arts, culture, and recreation.

"Our newest Strategic Action Plan was created with our entire community in mind, and its strength lies in our community's active involvement. Thus, we hope you will join us on Wednesday for our workshop to get an insider's view of the exciting projects underway on Hilton Head Island," said Mayor Alan Perry.

Workshop Schedule

The agenda for the August 9 workshop is available on the Town's website at hiltonheadislandsc.gov. The workshop is open to the public. Citizens who wish to address the Town Council concerning the Strategic Action Plan should submit a Request to Speak form by noon, Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
