The Town of Hilton Head Island will perform stormwater maintenance work starting this week on the drainage channel between Main Street and William Hilton Parkway (Highway 278 Business), adjacent to 201 Museum Street, 271 William Hilton Parkway, and 3801 Main Street.
The work, expected to begin on October 18, will last up to two months and will consist of clearing overgrown vegetation to access the channel and excavation of accumulated sediment to restore the drainage capacity. No traffic delays are anticipated.
