Town Administrative Offices to Close Friday, November 10 in Observance of Veterans Day

In observance of Veterans Day (November 11), the Town of Hilton Head Island administrative offices will be closed on Friday, November 10. The Town will resume regular business hours at 8 am on Monday, November 13.

Also, the Beaufort County Convenience Center, 26 Summit Road on Hilton Head Island, will be closed on Saturday, November 11, and return to normal operating hours on Sunday, November 12. Town emergency services and the Hilton Head Island Airport will remain available and operational during the holiday.

Veterans Day Remembrance Ceremony

The Hilton Head Area Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) invites the public to their 2023 Veterans Day Remembrance Ceremony on Saturday, November 11. It will take place from 10:30 to 11:30 am at Hilton Head Island Veterans Memorial Park, 59 Shelter Cove Lane. In case of inclement weather, it will be held at St Andrew by-the-Sea United Methodist Church at 20 Pope Avenue. The keynote speakers include U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran Roy Brown, Jr., and Stephanie Brown, co-founders of Operation Patriot Forward Operating Base.
