Crossings Park

Crossings Park Map

Area: 81 acres

Crossings Park is a large park property on the south side of the Island and primarily serves youth baseball with a 3-field complex. The property also includes the Bristol Sports Arena.

The Town purchased land for the property in 1992 and it opened in 1996, with the Arena opening in 1997. Most of the park property is heavily wooded. The park has been designed as a sports park, but people also use the meadow to walk their dogs and the wooded areas for informal walking trails.

The Master Plan says that it appears people want to use the park for more than just sports, so the idea is to make the sports in it better and to add exciting new amenities that anyone can use.
