Work Resuming on Multiuse Pathway Fencing Improvements

Beginning Monday, April 22, the Town of Hilton Head Island will resume work on upgrading fencing along the following multiuse pathways:

• The west side of Palmetto Bay Road between Point Comfort Road and Bay Pines Road.
• The north side of Point Comfort Road between Point Comfort Club Driveway and Palmetto Bay Road.

Construction activity will be underway through Friday, May 17. The project area will have traffic control and construction signage.  The pathway will be closed during construction and pathway users are encouraged to exercise caution while navigating in the vicinity.
