The Town has engaged experts who are conducting a fundamental, technical, and civic based review of the roadway network and community corridor to eventually establish a collective Town position on a preferred parkway alternative and to work cooperatively with project partners including the County, SCDOT and the local community to align project design alternatives.

These refinements are being developed and offered in a manner that maintains the project's integrity and operational goals, and that more effectively satisfies the project goals with the needs, interests, and concerns of the local community.

• July 7, 2021 - SCDOT will present the Preferred Alternative design. First day of the formal comment period on the Preferred Alternative.
