Charitable Organization and Business Licenses

English | Español

Did you know that many charitable organizations are exempt from the business license tax but are still required to obtain a business license?

If your organization is determined by the IRS to be exempt from Federal income taxes under 26 U.S.C section 501 (c) (3), (4), (6), (7), (8), (10) or (19), your organization will also be exempt from Town business license taxes.

  • All other organizations will be required to pay business license taxes.
